After releasing 3 really incredible albums, Columbus, Ohio’s Two Cow Garage are back with the greatest release of their career. Having received comparisons to bands like Lucero and the Drive By Truckers, “Speaking In Cursive” finds the band moving past their influences and finding their sound. Comments on the new songs have compared the band to an alt-country Lawrence Arms which I had never quite thought of until it was brought up. Regardless of comparisons, the album rocks and will fit in nicely with your punk, alt-country, and/or rock records.
I should note that Jon Snodgrass of Drag the River has fully taken Two Cow Garage under his supervision and will tell anyone who will listen that Two Cow are one of the greatest bands on the planet. Two Cow Garage are one of the hardest working bands on the planet. I really hope this album gets them the attention they deserve.

when you create a playlist in itunes – select all the tracks and under the “sorting” tab, title the “sort album” as the name of the playlist, and under the “options” tab, click the “part of a complilation” check box and select “yes”. easy peasy. that way it doesn’t change the name of the artists or albums, but the playlist stays organized.
oh – i missed a step… after you’ve selected all the tracks, right click and choose “get info”. it’ll ask you if you want to edit multiple artist info… just say yes.
i make a lot of playlists…
I CAN’T F&%#ING BELIEVE IT! This news is better than Christmas!

the lack of any MD dates makes me sad.
i so wish i could make this. gonna be a great time.
Should play the Dover Brick House in Dover, NH. Two Cow Garage gets a lot of play in the bar and they have a great set up for live shows.
I am pretty thrilled about tonights St Pete show. I have not seen Drag/Jon in over a year. Even though they’ve been back to FL several times since. That article by Scott on Nine Bullets pretty much sums up my thoughts on DTR and music in general.
