We are excited to announce In the Red’s brand new album, Volume 2, which we plan to release on LP, CD, and digitally worldwide on March 31st, 2009. The 12 song follow-up to their first album, Volume 1, finds the Carpenteria, California band taking their sound to a whole other level. Maybe its just us, but with Volume 2 we hear more in common with 90’s grunge acts like Nirvana and Stone Temple Pilots than the Hot Water Music comparisons we heard on Volume 1. We love this album and are excited for others to hear it.
In the Red features Suburban Home singer/songwriter, Mike Hale, as frontman of the band. Mike also fronted No Idea Recording act, Gunmol. Matt Glasgow is In the Red’s drummer.

when you create a playlist in itunes – select all the tracks and under the “sorting” tab, title the “sort album” as the name of the playlist, and under the “options” tab, click the “part of a complilation” check box and select “yes”. easy peasy. that way it doesn’t change the name of the artists or albums, but the playlist stays organized.
oh – i missed a step… after you’ve selected all the tracks, right click and choose “get info”. it’ll ask you if you want to edit multiple artist info… just say yes.
i make a lot of playlists…

Should play the Dover Brick House in Dover, NH. Two Cow Garage gets a lot of play in the bar and they have a great set up for live shows.
