We at Suburban Home are honored to announce Chad Price’s debut album, “Smile Sweet Face”. “Smile Sweet Face” features 10 songs recorded with Chris Fogal at Black in Bluhm Studios. Most of the tracks feature stripped down arrangements mostly with Chad on vocals and acoustic guitar. Rick Stef (of Lucero) came in and recorded Accordion on 3 tracks. The songwriting finds Chad picking up where tracks like “Tobacco Fields” and “Death of the Life of the Party” left off from Drag the River’s “You Can’t Live This Way”. Fans of Chad Price’s songwriting are in for an absolute treat. “Smile Sweet Face” will be released on LP, CD, and digitally. We haven’t yet set a release date, but it will be our goal to have the album out by this year’s Revival Tour.
Chad Price for over the past 10 years has been playing with Jon Snodgrass in the Suburban Home act, Drag the River, a band they both started when Chad wasn’t on tour with his other band at the time, All. Although Drag the River has suffered a few hiccups through the years, both Chad and Jon are fully committed to keeping Drag the River alive and kicking. Drag the River continue to play shows and record new albums even though both Chad and Jon have been putting focus on their solo recordings and shows.
You can see Chad Price out at this year’s Revival Tour, Suburban Home’s 14th Anniversary, and at this year’s Gainesville Fest. We will soon be posting news of a pre-order as well as posting an mp3.

when you create a playlist in itunes – select all the tracks and under the “sorting” tab, title the “sort album” as the name of the playlist, and under the “options” tab, click the “part of a complilation” check box and select “yes”. easy peasy. that way it doesn’t change the name of the artists or albums, but the playlist stays organized.
oh – i missed a step… after you’ve selected all the tracks, right click and choose “get info”. it’ll ask you if you want to edit multiple artist info… just say yes.
i make a lot of playlists…
I CAN’T F&%#ING BELIEVE IT! This news is better than Christmas!

the lack of any MD dates makes me sad.
i so wish i could make this. gonna be a great time.
Should play the Dover Brick House in Dover, NH. Two Cow Garage gets a lot of play in the bar and they have a great set up for live shows.
I am pretty thrilled about tonights St Pete show. I have not seen Drag/Jon in over a year. Even though they’ve been back to FL several times since. That article by Scott on Nine Bullets pretty much sums up my thoughts on DTR and music in general.
So excited for this
