I’m really excited to announce that Brendan Kelly of The Lawrence Arms will be joining Arliss Nancy’s Denver album release show for “Simple Machines” on Friday, February 24th at Illegal Pete’s Downtown. Brendan will be coming to Colorado for a few days and luckily, we have him playing in Denver. With his upcoming solo record due out in March, I’d expect Brendan to play some solo songs along with Lawrence Arms’ songs and who knows, maybe a few songs from his other acts (Broadways, Falcon, Slapstick). Arliss Nancy will be celebrating the release of their brand new album, “Simple Machines”. Lizzie Huffman and Alone at 3 AM will be supporting the show.

The show is FREE, All Ages, and will start around 9pm. Stay tuned as Brendan might also play the Ft Collins’ Arliss Nancy show on Thursday, February 23rd.

My good buddy, Damian, recently interviewed me and the episode is out now. Not only can you hear us talk about the early beginning of Suburban Home and the ups and downs of my small label, Damian has posted tracks by Arliss Nancy and Lenny and the Piss Poor Boys. The Arliss Nancy track is a brand new song from the upcoming album, “Simple Machines”, one that features a cameo from Jon Snodgrass!!

On Sunday, Lizzie Huffman, will be playing 3 or 4 sets in between the hours of 2pm and 6pm at Denver Beer Co. She is photographed above enjoying some delicious beer. You, too could enjoy some Delicious beer at Denver Beer Co with Miss Huffman providing the soundtrack to your beer drinking. I plan on hitting DBC early around 2pm so join me for a beer or two. I will have my sidekick, Logan, who will more than likely get his usual, Root Beer.
