Something we have been talking about for a while now has finally become reality! We have just set up the Suburban Home Records’ Drunk Dial Hotline. It is very important that you put the following phone number in your cell phone, 303-800-6DUI (6384). Label it in your address book as Drunk Dial Hotline or Dialing Under the Influence, and the next time you are drunk and feel like chatting, call the number. We want to hear your opinions on everything including what you think of Suburban Home, our bands, life, politics, religion, being drunk, and anything you think people would enjoy hearing. We will be reviewing the very best drunk dials and posting them on the site.
Through our feedburner feed, you can also subscribe to our feed through Itunes so that you will automatically be able to get the very latest drunk dial mp3s sent to your Itunes library. In Itunes, click Advanced, click Subscribe to Podcast, and paste our feedburner address, http://feeds.feedburner.com/SuburbanHomeRecords. Every time we post a new mp3 and/or drunk dial mp3, you will get it on your Itunes the next time you use it.
Here are a couple of samples of some drunk dial mp3s. The first is our very own Kyle Pedersen calling me after some birthday celebrations at Illegal Petes. The 2nd is Love Me Destroyer’s Scooter calling (not drunk, mind you), but somehow losing his train of thought. We will be posting future drunk dials on our blog so stay tuned!
Kyle’s Drunk Dial (it is tough to decipher through all of the slurring, but note that there are mentions of the time (3 a.m.) and something about Bobby (kyle’s friend) talking to a 17 year old.)

when you create a playlist in itunes – select all the tracks and under the “sorting” tab, title the “sort album” as the name of the playlist, and under the “options” tab, click the “part of a complilation” check box and select “yes”. easy peasy. that way it doesn’t change the name of the artists or albums, but the playlist stays organized.
oh – i missed a step… after you’ve selected all the tracks, right click and choose “get info”. it’ll ask you if you want to edit multiple artist info… just say yes.
i make a lot of playlists…
I CAN’T F&%#ING BELIEVE IT! This news is better than Christmas!
That’s exactly what I was looking for! Thank you!
hey buddies i love the new site and as you know ive been missing the fairlanes welcome to nowhere and it makes my year that you have that and drive to nowhere! as i listen to them i just miss when i could go see them play it was a different world then! and we all wish the best for you guys in the new one!
the lack of any MD dates makes me sad.
i so wish i could make this. gonna be a great time.
Should play the Dover Brick House in Dover, NH. Two Cow Garage gets a lot of play in the bar and they have a great set up for live shows.
I am pretty thrilled about tonights St Pete show. I have not seen Drag/Jon in over a year. Even though they’ve been back to FL several times since. That article by Scott on Nine Bullets pretty much sums up my thoughts on DTR and music in general.
