NINEBULLETS PREMIER: ARLISS NANCY – ST. FORGOT

Today, our friends at Nine Bullets have posted a brand new song from Suburban Home recording artist, Arliss Nancy. The song, “St Forgot” is the first track on their upcoming album, “Simple Machines” due out in March 2012. You will notice that the track features 3 amazing guest vocals (by Micah Schnabel, Lizzie Huffman, and Jon Snodgrass).

My good buddy, Damian, recently interviewed me and the episode is out now. Not only can you hear us talk about the early beginning of Suburban Home and the ups and downs of my small label, Damian has posted tracks by Arliss Nancy and Lenny and the Piss Poor Boys. The Arliss Nancy track is a brand new song from the upcoming album, “Simple Machines”, one that features a cameo from Jon Snodgrass!!

I recommend listening to the beginning (for the Lenny track) and the end (for the Arliss track) and if you are really bored, listen to our interview.

Episode 02 – Micah Schnabel of Two Cow Garages Talks “I’m Dead, Serious” [Mostly Harmless]

Our good buddy, Damian, recently launched Mostly Harmless Podcasts. He’s been on quite the tear lately having recently interviewed Chuck Ragan, Chris Fogal (of Black In Bluhm/Gamits), and Yours Truly. Here’s the interview Damian did with Micah when Micah recently did a run of Colorado shows. They discuss music addictions, the dark place that produced “I’m Dead, Serious”, and Mostly Harmless posts a few songs.

I’m really excited to hear this session and listen to Corey’s interview with Lizzie.

I had a really nice drunken weekend with Micah Schnabel this past weekend. Not only did I take a bunch of photos over the weekend, but I also posted a couple of videos.

The first video is of a new song by Micah called, “Blame it on Geography” which is featured on “I’m Dead, Serious”. The second video is of the two cow song, “Jackson, Don’t You Worry” from the album, “Sweet Saint Me”.

If you have never seen Micah Schnabel perform live before, he is easily one of my favorite, most rocking solo performers. Make sure you catch him when he tours near you in early 2012. Great hanging out with you Micah.

Micah Schnabel just wrapped up 4 dates around Colorado (Ft Collins, Denver, Colorado Springs, and Grand Junction). Here’s a video my buddy Chris Prunckle took of Micah performing “Hey Jealousy” by The Gin Blossoms. This was one of Micah’s last songs from his set at Tenacious Brothers in Grand Junction. Thanks Chris for posting the video and thanks Micah for always playing with so much heart. I will be posting a few videos I took so stay tuned.

Our friends at Nine Bullets have just posted the first video from Have Gun Will Travel’s new album, Mergers & Acquisitions. The video was directed by Brad Fleming and features guest appearances by Micah Schnabel (of Two Cow Garage) and Devon Stuart (of the Takers). The video turned out great and has a nice little twist at the end.
