During their first years, the band was mainly active in the Israeli hardcore scene. After releasing 2 albums on their own label, Falafel Records (named after their favorite food), the band decided to tour the United States. While on tour, they caught the ears of Kris Roe (frontman of the Ataris). The Ataries and Useless I.D. ended up recording a split album together on Kung Fu. The band were then signed by Kung Fu Records who put out their last 3 albums. In addition to those albums, Useless I.D. have been featured on the landmark compilations Short Songs for Shore People and the Rock Against Bush comps that Fat Wreck Chords released. The band have also been featured in the documentary, Jericho’s Echo, which featured punk and hardcore acts from Israel. The band’s lastest album finds them returning to record with Bill Stephenson and Jason Livermore at the Blasting Room. Suburban Home records is really excited to be able to release this album. Expect some really great tours in the near future (the band have done a few warped tours and have toured with the Ataris, and No Use for a Name.

when you create a playlist in itunes – select all the tracks and under the “sorting” tab, title the “sort album” as the name of the playlist, and under the “options” tab, click the “part of a complilation” check box and select “yes”. easy peasy. that way it doesn’t change the name of the artists or albums, but the playlist stays organized.
oh – i missed a step… after you’ve selected all the tracks, right click and choose “get info”. it’ll ask you if you want to edit multiple artist info… just say yes.
i make a lot of playlists…

i so wish i could make this. gonna be a great time.
Should play the Dover Brick House in Dover, NH. Two Cow Garage gets a lot of play in the bar and they have a great set up for live shows.
I am pretty thrilled about tonights St Pete show. I have not seen Drag/Jon in over a year. Even though they’ve been back to FL several times since. That article by Scott on Nine Bullets pretty much sums up my thoughts on DTR and music in general.
