Tin Horn Prayer, Alone at 3AM confirmed for Suburban Home Records’ 16th Anniversary

Every week leading up to the big weekend, I will be announcing the acts playing Suburban Home’s 16th Anniversary Party. The festivities will begin Friday, September 9th and end on Sunday, September 11th. There will be 2 nights of shows at 3 Kings Tavern (Friday and Saturday) and we will end the weekend with a big BBQ/Washer’s Tournament on that Sunday. Expect some other fun things thrown in the middle of it all.

I’m stoked to announce that Tin Horn Prayer and Alone at 3AM are confirmed to play Suburban Home’s 16th Anniversary.

Tin Horn Prayer are one of my favorite Denver bands. While they are not on Suburban Home, they are very much a part of our little family. They support many of the shows I book in town, they put on a killer set, and Andy Thomas is not only a friend, he once worked at Suburban Home. They’ve been working on new material, but last year, they released the very incredible “Get Busy Dying” which you can listen to via Spotify.

We just announced that we will be working with Alone at 3AM to release their new album, “Midwest Mess” which will be out in early 2012. This will be their first appearance at the Suburban Home Anniversary weekend. You can listen to their “From An Ohio Basement” 7″ via Soundcloud.

Expect more announcements soon. Tickets can be purchased on 3 Kings Tavern’s website. You can purchase tickets individually or at a lower price for the whole weekend. Please mark September 9th, 10th and 11th on your calendar. If you will need a hotel, I recommend using our room block at the Towneplace Suites; it’s a hotel that is about 6 blocks north of 3 Kings, and our group rate is $75 per night. Use this link to make a reservation or call 303-722-2322. It’s a nice hotel that works out well for the Anniversary weekend.

The Lineup, so far, is as follows:

Two Cow Garage (playing both nights)
Lenny and the Piss Poor Boys
Micah Schnabel (of Two Cow Garage)
Michael Dean Damron (of I Can Lick Any Sonofabitch In the House)
Joey Briggs
Lizzie Huffman
Have Gun Will Travel
Shane Sweeney (of Two Cow Garage)
Arliss Nancy
Lenny Lashley’s Gang of One
Tin Horn Prayer
Alone At 3AM

Set times and days will be announced next week.
