Lizzie Huffman confirmed for Suburban Home 15th Anniversary

Today, I am very proud to announce that Lizzie Huffman is joining our 15th Anniversary line up. This will be Lizzie’s first time to Denver so please help us give her a warm welcome during the celebrations. At the bottom of this post, I have put a streaming player so you can listen to the 10″ we released for Lizzie Huffman. I am really excited, this will actually be my first time seeing her play.

Tickets are on sale now at 3 Kings Tavern’s website.

So here is what there is to know about Suburban Home’s 15th Anniversary:

Friday, September 10th and Saturday, September 11th at 3 Kings Tavern (in no particular order or night)
DRAG THE RIVER (full band)
TIM BARRY
TWO COW GARAGE
THE GAMITS
I CAN LICK ANY SONOFABITCH IN THE HOUSE
JON SNODGRASS
AUSTIN LUCAS
MICAH SCHNABEL
ROB COE (of the Enablers)
JOSH SMALL
LIZZIE HUFFMAN

There will be a number of artists showing off their goods down in the basement of 3 Kings over the entire weekend. I will be posting an announcement of all the artists involved tomorrow.

Saturday, September 11th during the day, we are organizing a Hangover Brunch at the Lobby and then a brewery tour that will more than likely include Great Divide, Wynkoop, Oskar Blues, Avery, and maybe Upslope. Details to be announced soon.

Sunday, September 12th BBQ/Washers Tournament/Acoustic Sets at The Park – we’ll cook food, drink beer, play washers (and stump), and we’ll have some of the Suburban Home family doing an old-fashioned hootenanny. More than likely we will do things at Berkeley Park, but we are working out the details.

If you are from out of town, make sure you book your tickets soon. I just bought tickets from Seattle to Denver and was surprised at how nice the prices were. I put together a discounted rate at the same hotel we had lost year (Towne Place Suites). Book TownPlace Suites Denver for Suburban Home Records’ 15th Anniversary [special rate]

We promise an incredible time and hope you can all make it out to what should be a very special celebration.
