Over the weekend, I went through the necessary steps to disable our online store. While the thoughts going through my head were bittersweet, I could not be more excited about what this means for the future of Suburban Home and Vinyl Collective. We still have a number of kinks to work out with regards to links on our site that take you over to the Interpunk product listings, but we will be there soon. In the mean time, here is a list of things to consider:

- I am working closely with Interpunk to reconsider how they calculate postage; I have them already working on changing how they calculate postage on international orders with 2 or more records. There will be other changes soon.
- If you placed an order with Vinyl Collective, we will be shipping your order. If you subscribed to our Under the Influence 7″ series, we will fulfill those orders.
- If you have a credit or gift certificate that wasn’t completely used, get in touch with us. We are working with Interpunk to have those credits transferred.
- We are also working with Interpunk to switch over our VC Club Cards so that you can get 10 percent off on your future orders with Interpunk.
- I have been told by a few people that we should talk to Interpunk about accepting Paypal payments, I will bring it up in our next conversation.
- If there are other concerns that you would like to see us address, email me. While I can’t guarantee, we will be able to make all of the suggestions happen, we will do what we can to at least have your suggestions heard.
While I know that there are a number of people critical of our partnership with Interpunk, I think there will be a lot of good changes to come from it. Please give it some time. Thanks.
