Look Mexico’s sophomore album, To Bed To Battle, arrives in stores today via Suburban Home Records and should be available everywhere records are sold. Expanding upon the sound of their 2007 debut full-length This Is Animal Music, the album features newly varied instrumentation and ranges from barreling anthems to edgy and driving rockers to dreamy math-rock. The Austin-by-way-of-Tallahassee band, fresh off four performances during last week’s SXSW festival, recently completed a three-week headlining tour where they previewed the album’s new materials for fans, as well as a performance at this year’s Harvest of Hope Fest.
MagnetMagazine.com today premiered the album’s first single, “You Stay. I Go. No Following.” – featuring guest vocals by Frank Turner – as a free MP3 download. The 7” of the single, which also includes an acoustic version of album track “They Only Take The Backroads” as a b-side, is currently available on Suburban Home’s website. The video for “You Stay. I Go. No Following.” can also be seen here. Additionally, a full album stream of To Bed To Battle can be heard on AOL Music’s Spinner blog, PunkNews.org, and Buzzgrinder.
Look Mexico will also be the ‘Guest Editor’ of Buzzgrinder all day today and invites fans to comment on their favorite new album track. Beginning Friday, the track that receives the highest recognition will be made available for download on the site.

I have been awaiting the release of this album for quit sometime, and I am more than happy with it. At first I thought that nothing could live up to “this is animal music” but this album definitely surpassed my expectations. This is a must buy, do not hesitate. Keep it up!!
