Anyone paying attention knows that we at Suburban Home love our food and drink and thanks to our good buddy and amazing chef, Charles Sinden at the Lobby, we can share that love by co-sponsoring the Lobby’s first ever Stranahan’s Whiskey Dinner on Saturday, November 21st. Charles will be celebrating his birthday at this event and unlike most of us, he would rather make delicious food for his friends and family than go out on the town. Lucky for us that he is like this as he has crafted a 5 course meal that will surely satisfy our appetites and with the pairing of Stranahan’s Colorado Whiskey (our favorite whiskey in the world) will delight all of our other senses. Here is what you can expect:

What: A Five Course Meal paired with Stranahan’s Whiskey Drinks and Live Music
Where: The Lobby located at 22nd and Arapahoe (2191 Arapahoe St) across the street from Great Divide
Course 1 – House-made Lox over rye toast with spicy mustard and fresh dill – paired with Stranahans on the Rocks
Course 2 – Maple Ginger Grilled Pork Ribs glazed with whiskey barbeque sauce
Course 3 – Grilled Sword Fish served whiskey caramelized onions and served with a blue cheese cream sauce – paired with a Stranahans Whiskey Sour
Course 4 – Duo of Braised Meats – whiskey honey glazed lamb shoulder and whiskey mustard grilled short ribs served with parsnip puree
Course 5 – Whiskey brown sugar poached pear with honey thyme ice cream – paired with a Stranahans Old Fashion
