Punknews.org just posted an interview with Suburban Home’s Austin Lucas. It is a fantastic interview where Austin talks about his early years being involved with the Indiana University’s Choir, playing in Crust punk bands and having that partially destroy his voice, and his decision to play roots music more seriously. Austin has a unique outlook on Punk artists gravitating to Folk and Country being that he lived in the Czech Republic for the past 5 years and wasn’t submerged into that scene. He discusses on much Chuck Ragan has had to do with this career and how we came to work together. He even explains his thoughts on where he would like to see himself in the future. Please read the interview, it really covers a lot of ground.
