I don’t know what is in the Spring air, but a week after we announced Stereotyperider’s final shows, we got the news that Ghost Buffalo will also be coming to a close. We are truly bummed. In a statement titled, “The time has come to say goodbye”, Matt Bellinger wrote:
So unfortunately Ghost Buffalo has reached the end of the line. It is a sad day for all of us involved but the time has come. We would like to thank all our amazing friends, family, and anyone who has supported us over the years. We couldn’t have done all the amazing things we were able to do with out you.
We have two final shows lined up, one in Denver at 3 Kings on May 12th with Eyes and Ears, Bryan Hartley, and Sonic Vomit. And then we will be playing the Rocket Room in Colorado Springs on the 14th of may with the Nicotine Fits, Bryan Hartley, and Sonic Vomit.
We would be honored and blessed to have our friends there to help us bury the Buffalo.
We are hoping to still record our final four songs and release a 7″/ EP. We are too stoked on the material we have written to not document it.
Marie has plans to start working on a solo record which I will hopefully be helping her with, and I will definitely be working on something soon myself.
