As if I didn’t have enough keeping me busy, I will begin contributing a regular column for Hypebot, my favorite website dedicated to discussing ideas revolving around the music industry. It is my quest to explore new business models within the music industry, a quest I hope to share with the readers of Hypebot. If this is something that you find interesting, I highly recommend you tune in to Hypebot and subscribe to their RSS feed.
For those of you who don’t know, I used to run IndieHQ, a site dedicated to sharing ideas within Independent Music. It was something I had to stop doing as Vinyl Collective and Suburban Home got busier and busier, but it is something I truly miss. And even before that, Suburban Home started out as a fanzine. Although I consider myself just an average writer, I enjoy sharing my ideas with the world.
Check out the little introduction Hypebot just posted about my upcoming column and please tune in tomorrow when my first column will be posted. The title is something my Korean mother always reminds me of when discussion of Suburban Home or Vinyl Collective comes up.
