Punknews.org has just posted the latest installment of Mike Hale’s “For Those Still Standing”. This episode finds Mike spending some time at the Side One Dummy headquarters, being a guest on “Complete Control”, and spending some time with Joe Sib (owner of Side One Dummy). Joe has such a great perspective on his label and his incredible roster of artists and Mike does a good job of discussing independent music with him. He even got Joe Sib to sing a song for “For Those Still Standing” (Joe was the frontman of Wax and 22 Jacks, two bands I always loved). Throughout all this, Mike also jedi-mind tricked Joe into agreeing to do a split 7″ at some point. Read about it all here:
