I was completely blown away when Austin Lucas’ new album, “Somebody Loves You” debuted on the Bluegrass/Folk Billboard charts at the #7 spot. I am completely blown away this week to share the news that “Somebody Loves You” is currently spending another week on the Bluegrass/Folk Billboard Charts, this time at #36. In talking to Austin about this yesterday, we are both just so excited to see that people are picking up the album in independent retail destinations (as we are in none of the big chains (except Hot Topic)). Thanks to everyone who has made this possible.
Austin is taking a few days off before the Tim Barry/Austin Lucas/Josh Small tour picks back up early next week. He is playing in Stockton, CA, on April 3rd (tomorrow) with Kevin Seconds at the Plea For Peace Center and will be flying back out to Richmond to resume the tour. The tour still has over 2 weeks of dates left. If this tour comes near you, do not miss it; sure I am biased, but I think this is one of the greatest tours happening right now.
