Our newest band, Ninja Gun are coming to Colorado. This 4 piece calls South Georgia home and Coody, their singer, once told me that he was the son of a South Georgian pig farmer. The band are set to release their debut for us on July 8th. They have been on tour for almost a month and are about to visit our neck of the woods. I am so excited to meet the guys and show them how incredible Colorado is.
Ninja Gun sounds somewhere in between the Shins, My Morning Jacket, and Band of Horses and cites 70’s power pop as one of their biggest influences. You can check out 4 songs from “Restless Rubes” on their Myspace page. Don’t let the bad band name fool you, they are incredible.
