I will be heading out to New York today to attend this year’s CMJ Music Marathon. I have been asked to moderate a panel called “DIY or Die“. This panel will discuss independent record label management with artists who have made it on their own, with special focus on whether or not the traditional record label model is still relevant in today’s changing music industry. If you are attending CMJ, please come to my panel. It is on Friday, October 19th at 11:45.
I am excited about the opportunity and while I am there I will be going to see Tim Barry play a sold out show with the Falcon and Loved Ones which should be sweet. I will get to hang out with the very nice folks in LaGrecia as well as some close friends Seth from Negative Progression and Ross from Reignition. It should be a great weekend.
