I was thinking about the fact that when I first started Suburban Home back in 1995, I would have killed to work with many of the acts that I have been so lucky to work with. Add Scott Reynolds to that list as we just agreed to work with each other on his latest project, Scott Reynolds and the Steaming Beast. You may know Scott from a few of his previous bands like All, Goodbye Harry, and/or the Pavers. This latest project allows Scott to work with admired musicians which has included Flaming Lips’ member Steven Drodz, multi-instrumentalist Dave Fridmann, and members of Drag the River, the Pavers, Bleed for Me, and Bonesaw Romance.
The record is great, dealing with Scott has been incredible, and we are really excited to share it all with you. Scott has mentioned taking the tunes on the road and has mentioned more than a few times doing a tour with our very own Jon Snodgrass where they share the stage all night and trade off songs. Sign me up, I am so there.
