“Someone Pushed Me Down” 3/17/07 9pm to 1am
It should go without saying that I absolutely love Sean Michael from Mammoth Press. He has been a little absent from the drunk dial hotline lately, but he made up for it with not 1, but 3 phone calls on St Patty’s Day. He mentions that he is on a quest to drink 14 car bombs. If you don’t know what a Car Bomb is, they are usually a half pint of Guiness and you drop in a shot which is 1/2 Jameson Whiskey and 1/2 Bailey’s Irish Creme. They are delicious, but if you did 14 Car Bombs, that would be 7 beers, 7 shots of whiskey, and 7 shots of Bailey’s Irish Creme…enough to get someone nice and toasted. Throughout Sean’s 3 calls he mentions that he was drinking for two as his brother was no longer around (not sure if he is out of town or not living? hopefully out of town); he expresses his love for me (thanks!); he threatens violence on a woman which he says is ok because he is Irish; and he ends all the calls by falling down and saying that someone pushed him down. At one point, he says that he did 17 car bombs and a friend quickly quips, “No You Didn’t”. Good times. Thanks for the calls Sean. I love you man.

I drunk dialed SM once. I don’t remember what I said, though.
To my best recollection I had… somwhere between 8 and 11… I know I was kicked out of a bar after ordering 5 and drinking 4 at the bar… I know I was kicked out of another bar for accidentally(?) pushing someone… and then pushing the bouncer (who was my friend)… (i feel bad about that…). That was the violence I was trying to justify, at the time it made perfect sense, but I was wrong.
Luckly St. Patty’s Day is once a year.
And to answer your question. Unfortunatly, my brother wasn’t out of town.
Overall St Patty’s Day was good… but a little too stereotypical a little too debilitating, but good.
The Agency Group’s Dave Shapiro is having a party this weekend that I was invited to… so maybe you’ll get one solid drunk dial this weekend instead of 3 destructive ones.
I gotta remember to use this number when Im out.
