I have been meaning to post this news for a little while now, but Drag The River has posted 2 new songs on their myspace page. The songs are “Brookfield” which is a song they have been playing for a while now but have yet to release. This is one of my new favorite Drag songs. They also posted the song “Post-Pre Party” which is all of 26 seconds. That song which Jon told me was called “I Like to Party, Too” was the guys having a little bit of fun while in the studio. I love the hook in the song and hope they flesh it out to become a full song. The band actually has a recording of 14 songs and with some luck, those songs will become a new album on Suburban Home. Tell the guys to let us release it soon as it some great new hits like “Tobacco Fields”, “The Bad Side of a Good Time”, and many more that are sure to become Drag favorites.
If you are in Austin, the band is playing at 1pm at Flamingo Cantina for South By Southwest. If you are in any other part of the world, make sure you see them on tour with Rocky Votolato.
