Drag the River fans, if you don’t already own “Chicken Demos”, the 3rd and final re-release from the band’s days on Upland Recordings, make sure you spend some time with these mp3s. “Chicken Demos” doesn’t receive the accolades that it deserves. Much of what has become “Chicken Demos” was recorded during the same sessions that produced “Hobo’s Demos”. The band compiled the tracks for Hobo’s thinking they were far superior to the remainder of the songs, but it wasn’t until much later that the band realized that they were sitting on a gold-mine of unreleased material. Those songs are now Chicken Demos and these two songs are only but a sample of what you will expect with this release. Some of the band’s most requested songs come from this album:
