Drag the River on tour with Rocky Votolato / playing SXSW

I am excited to announce that Suburban Home’s Drag the River will be leaving for tour this week with Rocky Votolato. Drag and Rocky played in Denver on Sunday night, March 11th, and the show was amazing. Drag never sounded better and they seriously brought the thunder. You will see that JJ Nobody joined the boys on stage although he will not be on this tour. Chad Rex will again be filling in for JJ. Rocky Votolato is no slouch and he played all of my favorite songs from “Makers”. Drag will also be Rocky’s backing band for most of the tour so you will get to see Drag quite a bit during each of the shows. Please note that there are a lot of all ages shows on this tour and Drag are playing early in the lineup in most cases. I would hate to see some of you go to the show only to find out that Drag has already played.

Also, I have a big favor. Can any of you Drag fans please re-post these tour dates on message boards or forward them in emails or on your Myspace bulletins? That would be a huge help. Here are the dates:

3/16/07 – Drag the River is playing at 1pm for South by Southwest
3/17/07 to 4/20/07 – Rocky Votolato is also playing
