Since posting our statement about the future of Suburban Home, Vinyl Collective, and Dead Format, we have received hundreds of emails/calls wishing us the best and expressing support for what we do. Honestly, this is why I have been running Suburban Home for over 11 years now and it is the community aspect of independent music that first drew me in. I love this crazy industry despite its many shortcomings and with luck, I will be around for many years to come.
The decisions to move Suburban Home back to my house and to cut down on overhead were tough ones to make, but the money saved will ensure that Suburban Home will be around for years to come.
I owe a big thanks to every single one of you who have showed their support to what we do. it is harder than ever running a small, indie label, but the rewards make it all worth while.
