Anybody that reads the news on our site know that we have nothing but love and respect for Pastepunk. They run one of the best webzines on the net and if you are not hip to them, do yourself a favor and bookmark their site or subscribe to their feed. Pastepunk just reviewed Love Me Destroyer’s “The Things around us Burn” and we are elated to know that they loved the album. A couple quotes I love in the review include:
Comparisons in this genre are often made with little hesitation, but LOVE ME DESTROYER’s progression puts them in the league of groups like A WILHELM SCREAM, LATTERMAN and HOT WATER MUSIC.
Don’t allow LOVE ME DESTROYER to be relegated to those endless “most underrated” lists on message boards (at least outside of Denver) — give this band a shot and let their songs grow on you – I guarantee they will.
