New MP3s from Love Me Destroyer and Drag the River

As we draw closer to the official date for the release of Love Me Destroyer “The Things Around Us Burn” and Drag the River “Closed”, we are getting more and more excited to share new music from both bands. We have just posted a 2nd mp3 from both albums and hope you enjoy what you hear. To begin with, let’s chat about the track from Love Me Destroyer, Not if You Were the Last Sinner on Earth”. When I first got the recording of this album, I was blown away and it was this track that stood out most. The entire record rocks and has some heavier moments, but this is the song that had the biggest hooks on top of that. Scooter and company have always been able to write some catchy choruses, but I might say that this song is one of those that you just can’t get out of your head upon first listen. So fucking good.

The Drag the River track is the first track from “Closed”, “Embrace the Sound”. Whenever we pick mp3s to share from Drag the River albums, we try to pick one Chad Price sung song and one Jon Snodgrass sung song. Since we had earlier posted “Medicine”, it is now time to post one of Jon’s songs. There is good reason this song was selected to start out “Closed” and honestly, there isn’t a bad or even mediocre song on this album. Chad and Jon, in my opinion are some of the best songwriters most people have not heard. I have a lot of hope that with all their hard work, they will get some of the recognition they so deserve.

I hope you enjoy the mp3s and if you haven’t pre-ordered both albums from us, they are shipping now along with free T-shirts while supplies last.
