This week, it made more sense for me to pick up beer for the office Thursday afternoon. Fridays are always a whirlwind so why not get it on what was a slower Thursday afternoon? As suggested by my good buddy Eric, I picked up some Pipeline Porter which is a beer brewed from Hawaiian Kona Coffee. As Kyle put it, “Beer and Coffee are two of my favorite things.” We both tried one upon stocking our beer machine and it is really good, not something I could drink an entire 6 pack of in one sitting, but definitely a great way to start an afternoon of beer drinking. You will see by the photo that I have once again picked up Leffe which is up there with Chimay as my favorite beer. We tried the new New Belgium beer, 2 below which was really good (as all New Belgium beers are). A couple other new selections include the Paulaner Hefeweizen and the Czech beer, Czechvar. You will notice that we picked up a bottle of whiskey; we normally just drink beer, but Kyle thought it might make sense to have some harder stuff around in case we are having a rough day.
