We just got the new issue of Alternative Press in the mail today and we are again stoked to report another great review. AP gave “Rivanna Junction” a 4 out of 5 and had this to say”
…the leader of Richmond, Virginia’s melodic hardcore vets Avail has released an honest, unhyphenated folk album, among the best of its kind since Ryan Adams’ Heartbreaker.
We scanned in the review and following interview in case you want to read it. The file is a bit big so be patient. The interview is worth reading, too, as Tim discusses Avail, playing shows, hopping trains, and folk/punk. I just want to say thanks to Alternative Press for deeming “Rivanna Junction” worthy of taking up nearly an entire page in your magazine. I know Tim’s music isn’t what AP is most known for, but it means a lot to me that they took the time and interest to review and interview Tim.
