Only one day left until the funnest show of the year, Monsters of Mock. The enclosed photo is from last year’s Mock. I am so excited for the show tomorrow(Saturday, November 4th at the Bluebird Theater) and hope that everyone in Colorado comes. Here is a recap of what you can expect for tomorrow’s festivities:
Heavy Metal Karaoke (mini sets from Scooter of Love Me Destroyer doing Judas Priest, Maylyn of Leboom doing Joan Jett and Heart, Mike formerly of Against Tomorrows Sky doing Van Halen and Poison, Scott from the Fairlanes and Scott from Contender doing a duet on Whitesnake, and much more.
Black Sabbath as performed by members of the Gamits and Grace Like Gravity
Danzig as performed by members of the Nobodys, Hussy, and Drag the River
One Time Only (an 80’s tribute to punk rock, covers ranging from Misfits to Bad Religion, and much more) from members of Frontside Five.
We will also be showing Heavy Metal Parking Lot, having a costume contest, and the Jager will be flowing like water. The whole event will be hosted by Captain Metal! If you miss this show, you will hear about how you missed one of the best parties of the year.
