We are excited to announce that September marks Suburban Home’s 11th Anniversary. It is pretty unreal that we are still alive and kicking despite the ups and downs we have had over the past few years and the current music marketplace. For that, we plan on celebrating! The festivities include bringing newest Suburban Home artist, Tim Barry, out to Denver to play a few shows.
The shows include two on Saturday, September 23rd:
7pm at the Hi Dive (all ages) w/ Love Me Destroyer, Tim Barry, Signal to Noise, and the Masquerade Scene.
This will be followed up by a late night drunk fest across the street at Three Kings (21+) w/ Drag the River and Tim Barry.
We will then nurse our hangovers and drag our collective asses over to the Larimer Lounge (21+) for an afternoon barbecue show and washers’ tournament. The barbecue show will include Tim Barry, Drag the River, Ghost Buffalo, Casey James Prestwood (of Drag the River) and some friends.
The washers’ tournament info will be announced soon, but the winners will receive a free bar tab compliments of the Larimer Lounge and tons of free music. It should be noted that Kyle (of Suburban Home) and myself are the reigning champions of last year’s washers tournament. I should also note that the barbecue show is completely free so bring all of your friends.
We hope you can make it out for all three shows. We promise nothing but good times, great music, and lots of boozing!
