Suburban Home proudly launches Vinyl Collective

It is with great excitement that we bring you Vinyl Collective. VC is our vinyl-only online record store. We have lots of big ideas for this site and hope that it can become your one-stop destination for your new vinyl needs. As I have been thinking about this project for a while, I offer you a few reasons why you should check out Vinyl Collective:

  1. We are offering $3.00 all you can buy shipping for orders placed in the United States. The $3.00 covers media mail shipping for 1 or 1,000 records ordered. We also offer priority, first class, and air mail for those interested in getting their records quicker.
  2. Til September, 30th, 2006, all orders over $25.00 are entitled to $5.00 off when using the coupon code, ilovevinyl.
  3. We are adding new vinyl releases every week and have recently added new vinyl releases from bands like Cursive, the Hold Steady, Against Me, The Thermals, Wolf Eyes, Minor Threat/Youth Brigade, The Bronx, Drag the River, Johnny Cash, Devendra Banhart, Thom Yorke, and so much more.
  4. Vinyl Collective will also be a vinyl imprint with limited vinyl releases planned for Every Time I Die, Gatsby’s American Dream, and Fear Before the March of Flames. More releases will be planned soon, too.
  5. Last, but not least, you can win a $100.00 shopping spree at Vinyl Collective by winning a contest we are hosting til August 30th, 2006. Test your knowledge and your eyesight by identifying 26 records in a photograph taken at our warehouse. We have had a number of contestants, but not one person has identified all 26 releases. Maybe you can!

Check out the new site here.
